Great start to Feile Campaign for Clann U14 Girls

With weather and pitch conditions perfect in Johnstown last Monday the Clann U14 girls kicked off their Feile campaign taking on St. Dominics. Clann having the majority of possession in the first 10 minute could not manage to rack up a score against the Dominics defence, but once they found the target they weren’t long about having the advantage at half time with a score line of 3-4 to 1-0.

The second half these girls showed an exceptional team effort from defence working hard, midfielders linking in with forwards and converting their chances. The St. Dominics team have to be commended for their determination and they played to the final whistle, but the Clann girls came out on top on this occasion with a final score line of 8-5 to 3-2. These girls now play County Feile Semi Final on Easter Monday.
