Well done to our u6,u8, and u10 girls who played Padraig Pearse at home on Saturday morning last, it was great to see such big numbers in attendance, thank you to the parents and supporters who came along to watch the girls. St. Dominics u14 ladies play round 2 of their Championship at home to Western Gaels on Sunday the 27th of August.  Our Minor ladies were at home to Padraig Pearses in the final round of their championship on Thursday evening last. With the advantage of a strong breeze in the first half St. Dominics built up a good lead with Aoife Gavin and Aimee O’Connor among those keeping the score board ticking over. Aishling Walsh and Savannah Cassidy having an excellent game in defence with Eimear McNally Adele Corcoran and Emma Silke playing their part in keeping Pearses out. The second half saw Padraig Pearses stage a comeback with the wind , however St.Dominics dug deep against the excellent Padraig Pearse attack and with some late goals from Dominics guaranteed the win , final score 7-14 to 4-05. Thank you to all the supporters who came along to cheer both teams especially the very enthusiastic young Padraig Pearse supporter cheering on her big sister from the sideline.  Training continues for both minor and junior ladies with  the shield final due to take place on the 9th of September next.
