Congratulations to Amy Malone who was a member of the Connacht Post Primary Schools Team, representing Castlerea Community School, who beat Leinster in the All Ireland Shield Final in Kinnegad recently.

St. Croan’s Ladies Football held a presentation night on Friday 26th January 2018 in Kenny’s Lounge, Ballintubber.  Medals were presented to our 2016 under 12/14/16 teams and our 2017 under 14 team.  We were honoured to have Marie McAleer, Roscommon Ladies Football Secretary and Secretary of the LGFA Disciplinary Committee and Sandra Shanagher, Roscommon LGFA Registrar and referee to present medals to the players on the night.  Also, in attendance were the Liam McCarthy Cup and the Nestor Cup.  We wish to thank all the players and their families that attended, to DJ John Brandon who provided the entertainment for the night, to the Ladies who looked after the catering, the raffle ticket sellers, those who provided spot-prizes and to Jim & Eileen Kenny for hosting the event.  A special thank you to those who looked after the auction and supported both the raffle and auction on the night.

St. Croan’s LGFA would like to congratulate Sinead Kenny who has been selected as Captain of the Roscommon County Ladies Intermediate team for the 2018 season.  It is a great honour for our Club and we wish her every success in her role for the coming season.

Well done to Eimear Collins and Amy Ward on reaching the Junior Post Primary Schools Connacht Final with Glenamaddy Community School on Friday last February 2nd.  Unfortunately they were defeated by a very strong Claregalway team on the day.  We wish both Eimear and Amy the best of luck in their up- coming Senior Post Primary Schools All -Ireland Semi Final.
