GIRLS QUALIFY FOR JUNIOR SEMI FINAL:

St Barry’s 3-20 St Croan’s 3-01

St Barry’s Ladies qualified for the Junk Championship Semi-final with a  convincing win over St Croan’s. While the  game was a little closer than the scoreline suggests, the Barry’s girls controlled the game throughout. A well finished team goal before half home gave us a 14 point lead. Croan’s threatened a comeback, scoring a goal and a point at the beginning of the 2nd half, but St Barry’s quickly steadied the ship, and rounded off a good team performance with second half goals from Emer Wallace and Edel Beirne.

St Barry’s:Rebecca Cox, Rhiannon Cox, R Hagan, J McGowan, G Farrell, A McLoughlin, J Rogers, E Burke, E Wallace, N Murphy, G Gaynor, S Murphy, S McVeigh, E Callaghan, E Beirne. Subs:C McGlynn, L Beirne, A Cousins, S Rogan, Ann Marie Murphy, Ruth Cox.
