St Barry’s 1-8 Ballinameen 0-7

St Barry’s enjoyed a good win over Ballinameen in the 1st round of the Ladies Junior A Championship. St Barry’s led from start to finish, and were comfortable throughout, in spite of a few late points from Ballinameen. 

The girls travel to Castlerea on Saturday next for round 2.

The Annual Cul Camp which takes place in St Barry’s from 17th to 21th of July, for players from age of 6 upwards. 


Our Under 12’s played in the Division 5 Spring League on Saturday. Unfortunately, they came up against a strong Shannon Geals team, who pulled away during the second half. The Under 14 and 16 teams began life at Division 2 level last week, with contrasting results. The 14’s travelled to Castlerea and came away with a one point win, while the 16’s were beaten by a strong Roscommon Geals outfit on Sunday.
