St Mary’s power past Bornacoola:

Congratulations to St Mary’s of Tulsk who overcame Bornacoola St Mary’s of Leitrim in their Connacht Club Junior Quarter Final on Saturday last on a convincing margin. This leaves the Tulsk girls in a semi-final now against the mayo representatives next weekend so no let for the girls. A full detailed report on their victory last weekend appears elsewhere in this publication.

Remember Kilbride entertain provincial kingpins Cornacon of Mayo on Friday the 13th October in Kilbride while two days later Western Gaels take on the Sligo champions away from home.

Combined Draw:

A reminder to all clubs that our annual combined draw competition is up for renewal and tickets have been distributed to the clubs for a while now and should be making their way back to county board officers by now. Development update:

The latest news on our development squads is as follows:

The U 15 development panel continued with their training plan on last Saturday.  This year’s u16 county girls eligible for next year’s team has joined the panel. The preparations are going very well with noticeable progress been made. We wish our injured girls a speedy recovery.

We also want to bring to people’s attention the fact that the new development committee are running a table quiz in Kilbride community centre on Friday the 20th October at 8pm in aid of the Roscommon ladies football development fund. We would ask that this be supported by all players involved in all three squads and their clubs.
