Congratulations to The Ward Bros sponsored intermediate ladies who got their all-Ireland campaign off to a winning start on Sunday last in Drumlane Co Cavan when the crushed Down on a scoreline of 4-13 to 1-09. This was a great victory for Michael Finneran’s charges and now they take on old rivals Sligo for a place in the semi-finals in two weeks’ time. The long awaited kick off in the Joe Simons builder’s providers Boyle club minor championship happens this week as on Thursday first round games take place in all three divisions and as usual first named team at home:
